ITINERARY :
This is a private full day tour from Kusadasi. Your guide will welcome you at the pick-up place at the predetermined time . You will be provided with a private ,comfortable, non-smoking vehicle with A/C and private driver.After 20 minutes drive from Kusadasi , you will arrive to House of Virgin Mary which is located in Selcuk. It is believed that Virgin Mary spent her last days and died there . Afterward , The Ephesus Tour will start at the upper gate and finish at the lower gate of Ancient Ephesus .You will have an extensive tour in this ancient site where you will see Domitian’s, Trajan’s and Hadrian’s Temples, the huge Roman bath, Harbour Street, Marble Street, the Gates of Mihridates and Mazues, Commercial Agora, Latrina, the Scolastica Baths, Curetes Street, Polio Fountain, Memnius’ Monument, the Prytaneion, Odeon, the State Agora, the Celsus Library and the biggest amphitheater in Turkey.
The visits to the private houses (So-called ‘Terrace Houses’) is an optional visit for an extra price and your guide should be informed on before hand.
Finally you will visit the ruins of the Temple of Artemis (Artemision), which was one of the Seven Wonders of the World and will also be visiting St John Bassilica which is the sixth century church built by Justinian over the burial site of John the Apostle and will drive back to Kusadasi hotel.
